In this short tutorial I will demonstrate how to adjust the size of your Mac folders on your desktop so that they are larger or smaller. This process is pretty simple and only takes a few moments. Please note that you should have your "right click" enabled on your magic mouse or trackpad. To enable "right click" on a mac these settings can be adjusted in "System Preferences" then by selecting the trackpad or mouse icon. The option for "right click" is referred to as "secondary click" on a mac.
STEP 1
Right click anywhere on your desktop and select "Show View Options"
STEP 2
From this menu you can change your icon size to the desired size you would like your folder icons to display at. Adjust this bar as needed. You can also adjust your grid spacing (the space between each icon folder), the text size that is displayed on the folder icon, and how you would like to sort or stack your folder icon. Please not if you are using a desktop theme and want to be able to move your folder icons around on your screen without them snapping in a straight line you will need to have "stack by" set to "none.
STEP 3
Once you have set your folder app icons to the desired size you can close the menu box and arrange your folder icons as desired on your Mac desktop screen.
